Women LEADing Michigan

This is a skills-intensive professional development training program designed to prepare those who identify as a woman.  This program is designed as a space to learn, network, and be vulnerable with other like minded individuals.

The purpose of the Women LEADing Michigan program is to provide a springboard for aspiring women to pursue careers in political leadership roles. We will elevate and strengthen the vision, voice, power, of women leaders in Michigan. 

Schedule and Content

Our Women LEADing Michigan program will be offered virtually. The program will be offered in May. All classes will be held virtually via zoom on Thursdays in the evening hours of 6 - 8 p.m. *We will not meet on May 23.

• May 2 - Week 1: Money is the lifeline of politics

• May 9 - Week 2: Building a brand 

• May 16 - Week 3: Women’s rights are universal rights

• May 30 - Week 4: GLPA-LEAD Education Fund & Local Progress (Elected Officials Only)
